Angers Nantes Opéra is established in 2003: Nantes and Angers join forces to lead a common lyrical policy.
Both have the same program, strong local presence, regional or even national influence
But, they have many problems :
Here, the goal is to evolve the image of the opera to update its identity and target a younger audience.
The logo evokes at first the structure of the opera. The latter is highlighted by the wheelbase of typography, which is also reminiscent of the former logo of Angers Nantes Opera. It is therefore a link between the old logo and the new, between before and after, between the past (wheelbase) and the young (sans serif). We then come to cut the grass under the feet of this old identity thanks to the word "opera" and its round typography passing through which will contradict the prejudices.
In addition, this logo, which is more current, brings dynamism in its form. Indeed, the wave of the A N represents as much the dance, the movement of an actor or a dancer as the vibration of the voice of a singer on stage. This logo is animated, active, energetic.

As said before, there is a link of the old logo with Didot that is serif typeface. Brings the finesse side, elegance.
And Futura, brings youth, roundness.
The two typographies together mean dynamism, versatility, diversification.
Posters to promote the opera and its offers. We find the movement of typography
(deformation, ...) and also the handmade side.
